The objective of this role is to provide interpretation of financial information to management, monitor the cash flow of the company’s operations whiles analyzing and developing financial management policies to minimize risk by liaising with your Supervisor

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

MANAGEMENT   

  • Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Manage outsourced functions in consultation with your supervisor.
  • Assist to oversee the operations of the finance and treasury department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives.


OPERATION EFFICIENCY    

  • Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds for investment.
  • Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements.
  • Maintain banking relationships.
  • Assist in determining the company's proper capital structure.
  • Arrange for equity and debt financing.
  • Invest funds.


OTHER    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS   

  • Develop,   implement,   and audit policies and procedures to ensure necessary controls are in place for all treasury activities including cash management, account maintenance, payment systems, etc.
  • Manage and forecast the Company’s daily cash financing and investment needs.
  • Provide coaching, guidance and training to the   Finance team to ensure   career growth and continued learning and professional development. 
  • Develop and manage relationships with our banks,   payment processors,   and vendors.
  • Originate reports in support of quarterly disclosures and debt covenant compliance.
  • Assist in the design and execution of complex analysis to answer ad hoc questions as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:  

  • A good first degree in any discipline.
  • A postgraduate degree in any financial/Management discipline.
  • At least a Level two student of recognized professional certification (ACCA/ ICA) will be an added advantage
